27 – 30 January 2009

A fun-filled four days of racing in between the islands of beautiful Phang Nga Bay and Krabi. Perfect for families and the less serious racers. Held around Chinese New Year, there is a party in a different beach venue each night. Racing under IRC, OMR and local handicap classes.

Monday 26th Jan: Registration 12:00 to 5:00 PM 18.30 Opening Party - Ao Po Grand Marina, Phuket - Sponsored by Ao Po Grand Marina
Tuesday 27th  Jan: Sail to Northeast corner of Phang Nga Bay, anchor in Chong Lat. 18.30 Party & Presentations - Laemsak Seafood Restaurant, Chong Lat, Krabi - Sponsored by Raimon Land
Wednesday 28th Jan: New course around islands north of Koh Yao Noi. 17.30 Party & Presentations - Koh Yao Paradise Resort, Phang Nga - Sponsored by Kingfisher.
Thursday 29th Jan: Sail Southeast through the Koh Pak Bia group to Krabi.18.30 Party & Presentations - Sand-Sea Resort, Railay Beach, Krabi - Sponsored by QBE
Friday 30th Jan: Sail back to Ao Chalong. 19.30 Presentations & Closing party - Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort, Chalong Bay, Phuket

Preregistration at ACYC Sat 27th Dec
There will be a preregistration event at the Ao Chalong Yacht Club on Saturday 27th December between 4 – 7 PM.  Bring cash, please, and be sure of the number in your crew. The club will put on a BBQ for the expected influx.

Who wants to use the free berthing at Ao Po Marina?
People who plan to take up the offer of free berthing in Ao Po Grand Marina should send us confirmation, with the length of their boat.  Now, please.
